SG Domain Name Promotion (1 Year) Terms - cybersite.com.sg

All new business/company that are registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) on/after 5 October 2012 can qualify for the promotion on condition that you reserve and activate your domain name with the same Registrar within 90 days from the date the business/company is successfully registered with ACRA.

For example, if ABC Pte Ltd is incorporated on 5 October 2012, they can enjoy the discount if their domain name is reserved and activated by 2 January 2013.

Upon successful registration and payment for your business (including limited liability partnership or limited partnership) or company registration via ACRA’s BizFile system, you will be shown the option to reserve a domain name immediately. To reserve a domain name:

1. First check if the domain name (ending with “.com.sg” or “.sg”) you want is still available for reservation.
2. If it is still available, you will need to provide your name, contact number and email address to confirm the reservation request. SGNIC will use this information to contact you should SGNIC require any clarifications.

Alternatively, you can also reserve your domain name at Cybersite. Once you have reserved your domain name successfully, you will need to “activate” your domain name with Cybersite within 90 days from the date the business/company is successfully registered with ACRA.

Yes, you can approach Cybersite to assist you with the reservation on condition that you activate the domain name with Cybersite within 90 days from the date your business/company is successfully registered with ACRA. Please provide us with your ACRA Registration Number, date of incorporation, and the NRIC number of any of the owners/shareholder/director.

No, you can reserve only one domain name for each business or company in Singapore.

No, this promotion is for “com.sg” and “.sg” domain names only.

No fee is charged for reserving a domain name (ending with “.com.sg” or “.sg”).

To use the domain name, however, you will need to “activate” the reserved domain name with Cybersite.

If your reservation was made via ACRA’s BizFile system or at Cybersite and the reservation period has ended, your reservation will lapse if no activation was made and you will not be entitled to the promotion. In addition, that domain name will be available for registration/reservation again by any party on a first-come-first-served basis.

If you have reserved the domain name at Cybersite, you may go contact Cybersite or go to domain search and type the domain name in the “Whois” box. The “Creation Date” will show the date the domain name was first reserved. The reservation period will end 90 days from the “Creation Date”.

Alternatively, if you have reserved the domain name via ACRA’s BizFile system, go to www.sgnic.sg and type the domain name in the “Whois” box or you may contact SGNIC hotline at (65) 6659 2534 or email [email protected] to seek clarification.

No, there will be no penalty payment for not activating your reserved domain name.

To activate the domain name you have reserved, please approach Cybersite with the following documents/information:

1. For Businesses: Your reserved domain name, ACRA Registration Number, date of incorporation, and the NRIC number of any of the business owners.
2. For Companies: Your reserved domain name, ACRA Registration Number, date of incorporation, and the NRIC number of any company shareholders or directors.

If you wish to activate your domain name, but you are unable to recall the domain name that you have reserved, please approach Cybersite with your business/company’s ACRA registration number, date of incorporation, and NRIC number of the owner/shareholder/director.

You may do so with Cybersite on condition that you activate the domain name with us within 90 days from the date your business/company is successfully registered with ACRA. Please provide us with your ACRA Registration Number, date of incorporation, and the NRIC number of any of the owners/shareholder/director.

The reservations are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Therefore, the first reservation received by SGNIC will be accepted as long as the reservation is in line with SGNIC policies.

The promotions are valid for new customers only.

All payments are to be made in advance before activation of service/s unless otherwise stated. Payment can be made via Cybersite online payment or crossed cheque to “Cybersite Services Pte Ltd”.

Cybersite reserves the right to withdraw or amend the terms and conditions of the promotions without prior notice.

All domain name promotional offers are mutually exclusive from each other. You are entitled to one promotional offer and not a combination of the promotional offers unless otherwise stated.
